Advisory: Clinical Viewer Namespace Activation Fails after Upgrade with "%pkg.isc" Errors

This problem affects the following products:

  • HealthShare Clinical Viewer: 2023.1

When upgrading a Clinical Viewer instance to version 2023.1, an incorrect routine mapping is added when the Clinical Viewer namespace is activated. This may result in a failed namespace activation which returns errors like the following:
ERROR: source lines(4) : MPP5635 : No include file '%pkg.isc.json.map'
TEXT: #INCLUDE %pkg.isc.json.map

To resolve the issue, system administrators should update the routine mappings for their Clinical Viewer namespace to remove the mapping of the %pkg.isc package to the VIEWERLIB database. This will resolve the activation errors.

The correction for this defect is identified as HSIEO-8161 which will be included in all future product releases. It is also available via ad hoc change file (patch) or full kit distribution by contacting the Worldwide Response Center (WRC).
