Introducing Caché eXTreme for Java

Caché's unique multidimensional data access gives developers the benefits of both persistent objects and blindingly fast SQL access to the same data. Decades of investment in optimizing the kernel mean that this development richness is further enhanced by blindingly fast performance and exceptional scalability. eXTreme for Java allows Java developers to tunnel directly into the Caché kernel. For the first time, the development flexibility and the run time performance of Caché is now available to Java developers.

Caché eXTreme for Java enables “in-process” communication between Java and Caché‚ thereby providing extremely low-latency data storage and retrieval.

The Caché eXTreme Java framework provides an API (Application Programming Interface) that enables a developer to do the following in-process:

  1. Store and retrieve structured data over JDBC (JDBC over JNI)

  2. Store and retrieve unstructured data

  3. Store and retrieve Java Objects
