Advisory: Patients Cannot See Updates to a Care Plan That They Have Been Asked to Review/Contribute To
This problem affects the following products:
- HealthShare Care Community: 2023.1, 2023.1.1
When a care plan has been sent from Care Community to a patient portal for the patient's review and contribution, the care plan state is set to “Awaiting patient response”. While the plan is in this state, clinicians may make changes to the plan or add comments to it, but the patient will not see those updates. The patient will only see the care plan in the state that was originally sent to the portal.
This has been fixed in version 2023.2.
The correction for this defect is identified as HSCC-7530 which will be included in all future product releases. It is also available via ad hoc change file (patch) by contacting the Worldwide Response Center (WRC).
