The HealthShare Patient Index Technical Specialist exam is designed to validate core skills for technical professionals who implement, train, and support all aspects of HealthShare Patient Index.
Target Exam Role
A HealthShare Patient Index Technical Specialist is an IT implementation professional who has 6-12 months experience with installing, configuring and supporting the HealthShare Patient Index product to provide either a standalone system or as a master patient index for the HealthShare Unified Care Record. The Technical Specialist also has domain expertise in the use of master patient index operations to enable the identification of problems in data and the training of users.
Classroom courses HealthShare Patient Index and HealthShare Unified Care Record Fundamentals, or equivalent experience. Online courses HealthShare Patient Index Overview, InterSystems IRIS Business Intelligence Overview and InterSystems IRIS BI: Analyzer are recommended, as well as reading HealthShare Patient Index Documentation.

Recommended Practical Experience
- 6-12 months working in HealthShare Patient Index implementation, version 2018.1 or higher, completing at least one project.
