This problem affects the following products:
- All versions of Unified Care Record
Requirements:
- A HealthShare federation with more than one instance
HealthShare Unified Care Record employs a regularly scheduled task to update federated HealthShare instances with roles and resources from the Registry instance. This task queries the Registry to obtain a list of roles and resources. If the query fails for some reason, for example because IRISTEMP is full, then the task continues on with an empty list, and proceeds to remove all of the roles and resources from each federated instance, effectively locking out all users.
If you clear up the error condition that caused the query to fail, and then rerun the task, all of the roles and resources are restored.
The correction for this defect is identified as HSIEO-14648, which is included in version 2026.2 of HealthShare and all future product releases. It is also available for older versions via ad hoc change file (patch) or full kit distribution by contacting the Worldwide Response Center (WRC).
