Data on the Move - Securing InterSystems IRIS Connections with TLS

Pending changes to the HIPAA Security Rule mandate encryption of electronic protected health information (ePHI) during transit. In this presentation, we will discuss how Transport Layer Security, Public Key Infrastructure and certificates work together to meet this requirement and generally secure data as it moves over a network. You will learn where TLS can be applied within and around InterSystems IRIS, different ways to obtain certificates and practical examples of how to configure TLS in InterSystems IRIS.
