Advisory: Patients with More than 25 MRNs May Not Display All Data in Clinical Viewer

This problem exists for customers who use one of the following versions and the new Clinical Viewer:

  • HealthShare Information Exchange 2018.1
  • HealthShare Unified Care Record 2019.1.x

The HealthShare Clinical Viewer Patient Search Results page will paginate the list of MRNs if there are more than 25 for a patient. When a user selects the patient's full record MPIID at the top of the list, the PatientBatchFetchRequestAsync message that is created will only use the MRNs on the current page. This results in only part of the patient's data being fetched and displayed in the Clinical Viewer, with no indication to the user that this has occurred.
In version 2019.2 and later, pagination is not used and this does not occur. Customers using 2018.1 and 2019.1.x can remove pagination through configuration to avoid this issue. Customizing the v2 Patient Search Results Page provides instructions.

This has been corrected as of 2019.1.2.

Customers using 2018.1 and 2019.1 can request an ad hoc patch from contact the Worldwide Response Center (WRC) and refer to HSCV-13027.
