McKesson’s CarePlus Child Health, built on InterSystems Caché, is a web-based product that provides a full tool-kit of facilities to control the Child Health program within the United Kingdom’s NHS Trusts.
CarePlus Child Health is a modular system with each component supporting a different aspect of the Child Health service. Core to the system is the registration module, which controls the entry of children into the system. Also key is the Vaccination and Immunization module, which ensures that children are invited for their correct immunizations at their chosen health clinic or GP surgery. All modules integrate seamlessly with each other, with data flowing freely between, to create a flexible, upgradeable system.
