The second largest institution for academic education in technology in Finland, the Tampere University of Technology provides the highest education in technology and architecture and conducts scientific research in these fields. It operates in close collaboration with industry and produces high-quality research, product development and continuing education services.
Caché in the Classroom:
Caché will be evaluated by a group of students during a regular University course on database technology. Student groups will deliver exercises using Caché rather than the previously used database management system Solid.
For the final year course in database management, a guest lecture from InterSystems on Database Implementaiton and Impedance Missmatch is planned. InterSystems will also provide an introductory presentation on Caché for students and some academic staff.
