InterSystems EMPI Technical Specialist Recertification Exam

The InterSystems EMPI Technical Specialist Recertification exam is designed to provide candidates that already have the InterSystems EMPI Technical Specialist (formerly HealthShare Patient Index Technical Specialist) certification a 2nd option to get recertified.

Candidates are only eligible to complete the recertification exam if they hold an active InterSystems EMPI Technical Specialist (formerly HealthShare Patient Index Technical Specialist) certification, and the expiration date of the certification is within 6 months of today's date. Exam Details

Target Exam Role

An IT implementation specialist who does all of the following:

  • Installs, configures, and supports the HealthShare Patient Index product to provide either a standalone system or as an Enterprise Master Person Index for the HealthShare Unified Care Record
  • Uses Master Person Index operations to enable the identification of problems in data and the training of users

Recommended Practical Experience

  • At least 6 - 12 months of experience working with InterSystems EMPI
