InterSystems becomes a PRSB Partner to Improve Interoperability of Systems and Data Speed Within Health and Care

We are delighted to welcome InterSystems, an international supplier of data technology in healthcare, as a PRSB partner.

InterSystems also develops and supports unique managed services for hospital EPRs, unified care records for communities and nations, and laboratory information management systems, and so they understand the importance of dataset and information record standards in helping deliver high-quality health and care.

Our new Partner is keen to contribute to the development of datasets and share their knowledge and experience with other system suppliers and clinical communities, which will help facilitate the provision of the systems and services to their customers. They are a long-term supporter of the development and adoption of healthcare standards on an international basis and maintain active involvement at board level with organisations such as HL7 and IHE. This is why they think that joining our Standards Partnership Scheme is the next step for them.

Jon Payne, Director of Sales Engineering and Education at InterSystems, said: “We pride ourselves on our commitment to supporting healthcare standards globally and are delighted to be part of the PRSB Standards Partnership Scheme. We are looking forward to working with their team on implementing their standards.”

Lorraine Foley, CEO at the PRSB, said: “I am glad to see the spreading awareness of the importance of information record standards in health and care, and that more system suppliers have a shared belief in our mission. InterSystems will be a valuable addition to our Standards Partnership Scheme and their input highly appreciated in developing new standards. Our Conformance Assessment team will be delighted to work with them to become conformant against our standards and provide opportunities to learn more about their usability and benefits for the health and care system.”
