Advisory: Non-Unique Aggregation Keys Can Cause Key Collisions on Pure Query Edge Gateways

This problem affects the following products:

  • HealthShare Unified Care Record®, all versions up to and including 2024.2
    • 15.03
    • 2018.1
    • 2019.1
    • 2019.2
    • 2020.1
    • 2020.2
    • 2021.1
    • 2021.2
    • 2022.1
    • 2022.2
    • 2023.1
    • 2023.2
    • 2024.1
    • 2024.2

Requirements:

  • Using Pure Query Edge Gateway
  • More than one Pure Query Edge Gateway hosted in a single Unified Care Record instance

When two Pure Query Edge Gateways are deployed on a single instance, different data can be stored using the same aggregation key. This results in a data overlay, which can cause unexpected data to be returned to the Clinical Viewer.

The correction for this defect is identified as HSDD-2188, which will be included in all future product releases. It is also available via ad hoc change file (patch) or full kit distribution by contacting the Worldwide Response Center (WRC).
