Founded in 2023, Traverse Health specializes in organizing and analyzing real-world data sourced from electronic health records (EHRs) to empower pharmaceutical and biotech companies, healthcare providers, and policymakers with the information required to enhance patient outcomes.
Before adopting InterSystems IRIS for Health, Traverse Health relied on a combination of OHDSI open-source tools and PostgreSQL databases to manage and standardize patient data. While functional, this setup required extensive customization, manual maintenance, and slowed onboarding processes for new hospital partners.
The introduction of InterSystems IRIS for Health—particularly following its approval as an OHDSI-compatible solution - marked a turning point.
