New state-of-the-art office provides an innovation hub for InterSystems and customers
WINDSOR, UK,18 May, 2022 – InterSystems, a provider of next-generation solutions for enterprise digital transformation to help customers solve the most critical data challenges, has announced the move of its UK headquarters to a newly-built office in the heart of Windsor.
One Victoria, located on Victoria Street, spans 48,000 sq. ft. across five floors, and consolidates staff from two previous offices situated in Eton and Windsor. The building received a silver in the London Design Awards 2021, and the project was shortlisted in the AJ Architecture Awards 2021 ‘Workplace’ category.
One Victoria will help to strengthen the company’s inclusive, integrated, and collaborative culture. The mixed plan office features a range of breakout areas, as well as a small theatre and dedicated training facilities. The office will function as a UK innovation hub to bring together employees and customers.
The new build incorporates a modern range of green credentials, including electric car charging points, large bicycle room, and showers, a sedum roof, extensive planters, and PIR lighting motion sensors. The move is a step towards InterSystems commitment to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050.
InterSystems Edinburgh office remains focused on supporting its Scottish customers, while the Windsor office supports customers across countries and industries. Consequently, One Victoria’s formal and casual collaboration zones will pay dividends in the cross pollination of ideas while promoting consistency of corporate processes.
For InterSystems employees, the daily differences will be simple yet impactful. Individuals will benefit from a modern office design with hidden and secure high-tech services, dedicated teleconference rooms, an abundance of natural light, communal areas to eat and drink together, and quiet spaces to relax. The office is in a prime location, with magnificent views of Windsor as well as easy access to shops, trains, and nearby parks, including the historic Long Walk.
Chris Norton, managing director, InterSystems, commented, “The new office is an outward representation of our vision for the business: it’s green, innovative, integrated, and inclusive. The move is key to our plans for our UK business, with room for growth to meet the increasing demand for our creative data technology services for health, finance, supply chain, and new markets.
“Today’s hybrid model balances working at home with offices that bring colleagues and customers together to innovate and sustain meaningful connections that invest in the company’s culture and valuable partnerships. One Victoria is designed to help us to do all of that, and more.”
