AI offers financial services organisations new ways to improve customer support, strengthen decision-making and widen access to services. As firms move from promising experiments to wider adoption, governance is becoming a critical enabler of AI success, helping organisations build the confidence to innovate, scale and realise value responsibly.
Hosted and chaired by InterSystems, this panel brings together perspectives from the FCA and Aegis Trace to explore how governance can support responsible AI adoption while creating the conditions for greater innovation and competitive advantage. The discussion will consider what existing regulatory principles mean in practice, the role of reliable data and meaningful human oversight, and the evidence firms need to understand, review and trust AI-supported decisions.
Looking ahead, the panel will examine how these questions evolve as AI systems gain greater autonomy, and how firms can maintain accountability while embracing the next generation of AI capabilities. Designed for business, technology, risk and compliance leaders, the session offers practical perspectives on building trust and enabling AI to scale across financial services.
