Advisory: Potential for Outdated Terms of Use to be Presented in Personal Community

June 30, 2020 – Advisory: Potential for Outdated Terms of Use to be Presented in Personal Community

InterSystems has corrected a defect that could arise where Personal Community Patients are presented with an out-of-date version of an Organization's Terms of Use.

This has been corrected in Personal Community 2020.1 so that the current Terms of Use version remains active after modifying patients in the Workbench.

This problem exists for:

  • HealthShare Personal Community - versions prior to 2020.1

This defect occurs when a patient who accepted only the old Terms of Use is modified and saved via the Members tab of the Personal Community Workbench.  The system would incorrectly flag the older version of the Terms of Use as the current version, and all subsequent Patients would be presented with that version.

The correction for this defect is identified as HSPC-10227 and will be included in all versions starting with Personal Community 2020.1 . It is available via Adhoc change file (patch) or full kit distribution from the Worldwide Response Center (WRC).

If you have any questions regarding this advisory, please contact the WRC.
