Recently, the research firm IDC surveyed more than 500 enterprises worldwide to understand their most important business challenges and initiatives regarding data and analytics. Surprisingly, more than 75% reported that slow data – that is, delays in generating insights and executing intelligent actions from events and transactions – is still preventing them from taking advantage of new business opportunities.
