The streamlet compression feature introduced in version 2022.2 inadvertently rendered the patient delete API ineffective. The patient delete API consists of various delete methods in HS.Gateway.ECR.PatientDelete. The API in affected versions did not actually delete compressed streamlets and was not equipped to handle versioned streamlets. A correction for this defect is now available that deletes compressed streamlets and versions.
The correction for this defect is identified as HSDD-3862, which will be included in all future product releases. It is also available for older versions via ad hoc change file (patch) or full kit distribution by contacting the Worldwide Response Center (WRC).
