Summary

Alert ID
Product & Versions Affected
Risk Category & ScoreExplicit Requirements
HSHC-5268HealthShare® Health Connect and InterSystems IRIS® for Health versions 2025.1.1Functional: Medium RiskOccurs when performing SDA3 -> FHIR transformations involving the Encounter resource.

Issue

In HealthShare Health Connect and Intersystems IRIS for Health 2025.1.1, SDA3 → FHIR transformations for the Encounter resource may fail.

The DTL HS.FHIR.DTL.SDA3.vR4.Encounter.Encounter references the property AdmitReasonReference in HS.SDA3.Encounter. This property is missing in HealthShare Health Connect and InterSystems IRIS for Health 2025.1.1. As a result, transformations fail with an error such as:

<Ens>ErrException: <PROPERTY DOES NOT EXIST>
Transform+171^HS.FHIR.DTL.SDA3.vR4.Encounter.Encounter.1*AdmitReasonReference,HS.SDA3.Encounter

Impact

Effects of this issue are:

  • SDA3 ->FHIR transformations involving Encounter objects fail.
  • HL7 -> SDA3 -> FHIR interoperability pipelines relying on this mapping are blocked until patched.

There is no impact to system availability or database integrity.

This issue affects versions 2025.1.1 of HealthShare Health Connect and InterSystems IRIS for Health.

Resolution

This issue has been corrected in versions 2025.1.2 and 2025.3.0 of Health Connect and IRIS for Health.

  • 2025.1.2 is scheduled for availability on October 22, 2025.
  • 2025.3.0 is scheduled for availability on November 19, 2025.
  • In the interim, customers requiring the correction prior to the 2025.1.2 release may request an ad hoc distribution for the fix (HSHC-5271) through the Worldwide Response Center.
