Advisory: Compilation Errors in HSCUSTOM after Upgrading from Full HS Kit to Health Connect

This problem affects the following products:

  • All versions of Information Exchange 15.032 or older when trying to upgrade/migrate to any Health Connect HSAP version 15.032 or older.

You will see the issue if you have an instance installed with Information Exchange 15.032 or older, but they are not using Information Exchange functionality like a Registry, Edge Gateway, or Access Gateway and plan to upgrade/migrate to an HSAP kit version 15.032 or older.
If you follow the documentation for “Preparing to Upgrade Health Connect”, and you have an HSCUSTOM namespace with mappings to HSAA or HSAA.Local, you may experience compilation errors after the upgrade.

These are the steps to resolve the issue:

  • Remove the following mappings (Home > System Administration > Configuration > System Configuration > Namespaces > HSCUSTOM > Package mappings):
    HSAA, HSAA.Local
  • Remove the following classes (Home > System Explorer > Classes):
    HSAA*.cls
  • From the Terminal ") in the HSCUSTOM namespace or an HSAP namespace:
    DO $system.OBJ.CompileAll("u")

Please contact the Worldwide Response Center (WRC) for additional information and reference HSIEC-1756.
