This problem affects the following products:
- HealthShare Health Insight: 2021.2, 2022.1, 2022.2, 2023.1
In the affected versions, when a vaccination record is deleted, a table scan is initiated through the MedicationAdministration table looking for the entry that corresponds to the deleted vaccination. This can cause a bottleneck ingesting data into Health Insight, especially when multiple vaccination deletes are involved, thereby causing slower data ingestion.
This behavior has been corrected for HealthShare 2023.2.
Customers who are on an affected version and are experiencing slow data ingestion into Health Insight should contact the Worldwide Response Center (WRC) to request an ad hoc patch for HSHI-7967.
