Alex MacLeod joined InterSystems in January 2001 while working towards her Master’s Degree in Information Systems at Darmstadt Technical University in Germany. Alex’s exposure to multiple markets and various aspects of InterSystems product and service offerings has enabled her to develop a deep understanding of how to leverage InterSystems technology to maximize customer success. She was a leading light in HealthShare’s go-to-market strategy, which has become her area of expertise over the last 15 years. Alex has helped lead the growth of HealthShare internationally and heads up solution innovation for our healthcare products.

Annamaria Di Ruscio co-founded Net Consulting, after four years at Gartner in Consulting and prior to that at Nomos Ricerca as an analyst-researcher. Today, she is a key shareholder, President, and CEO of the parent company NetConsulting cube and Sirmi. She focuses on supporting public and private user companies, investment funds, and suppliers in understanding digital market trends, evaluating areas for improvement, identifying opportunities to innovate processes, and creating new products and services through technology. In 2023 and 2024, she was a member of the Executive Board of the ITS Green Foundation in Vimercate. For seven consecutive years, Startup Magazine named her among the 150 women of innovation – Unstoppable Woman.

Dean Andrews is the Head of Developer Relations at InterSystems and an Advisory Board Member of the community non-profit HealthTech Build. Dean has been an engineer, product owner, developer evangelist, startup advisor, author, and MedTech consultant in his career. He works with industry leaders and startups in Healthcare, striving to help build innovative products and services that improve the world.

Enrico Parisi has been using InterSystems technology for over 30 years in various roles. During his career he has participated in numerous successful projects across Europe, managing the design and leading development teams for large-scale projects using InterSystems technology. He is a passionate member and moderator of the InterSystems Developer Community and in recent years has become the instructor for InterSystems training courses in Italy.

Francois joined InterSystems in November 2010, after earning a PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA). Over his career, he has contributed in Support, Implementation, and Sales Engineering, following HealthShare customers and prospects all around the world, with a strong technical focus on providing solutions to the most challenging requirements and regional market regulations (cybersecurity, privacy, interoperability). Francois’s current involvement in the Solution Innovation team includes this ongoing mission of ensuring customer success, point-of-contact between regional teams and corporate resources and implementation of new solution offerings and cloud services for global markets.

With 20+ years of experience in public, private and government Health Companies (Fondazione A. Gemelli IRCCS, AOU Parma, AUSL Parma, AUSL Modena, Emilia - Romagna Health Government), Giovanni Arcuri has a strong experience in integrated projects of health structures, operation management in healthcare, organization & management of health companies, biomedical technologies, medical informatics, ICT in health sector, digital health.

Jeff Fried empowers developers to build the next generation of data-driven applications. Before joining InterSystems, Jeff had worked as CTO of BA Insight, Empirix, and Teloquent and ran product management for FAST Search and Transfer and Microsoft. He has extensive experience in data management, text analytics, enterprise search, and interoperability. Jeff is a frequent speaker and writer in the industry. He holds 15 patents, wrote over 50 technical papers, and co-authored three technical books.

After gaining various experiences in the field of ICT in healthcare, in 2016 he became General Director of the Consortium Arsenàl.IT (Veneto Centre for Research and Innovation for Digital Healthcare). He has coordinated several important projects for the digitisation of processes, with significant experience in both the procurement and implementation phases. Since October 2020 he has been General Manager of Aria Spa and since January 2022 he has been Vice-President of Assinter Italia, an association that brings together companies from the Regions and Autonomous Provinces, Local Authorities and various central public bodies that operate in the ICT sector for the Public Administration according to the ‘in house providing’ model.

As CEO of Centro Medico Santagostino, Società e Salute SPA, a leading healthcare company in Italy, he has developed the strategy, branding, innovation, people, technology, and finance of the organization for over 13 years. His mission has been to provide accessible, affordable, and quality healthcare services to millions, leveraging the latest ICT solutions and a customer-centric approach. He is now an early-stage startup investor with his venture capital studio, First Principles. With a strong background in financial mathematics, physics, and complexity management, he applies rigorous and innovative methods to solve real-world problems and optimize processes and outcomes. He also has a passion for entrepreneurship and social impact, driving him to seek out and support exceptional CEOs and investment opportunities in education, sustainability, and digital transformation.

IT professional with a degree in computer science from the University of Udine, specializing in eHealth interoperability frameworks and international standards such as HL7 and IHE. He has a decade of experience in managing and designing interoperability frameworks for regional and national projects and the testing process for verifying adherence against standards. He currently holds the position of Technical Services Coordinator at the Arsenàl.IT Consortium, where he has held various positions of responsibility since 2013.

After an experience in private health care as controller, and many years of fiscal and management consulting in Piedmontese public health care, since 2012 Massimo became administrative director of several Piedmontese Health Authorities. He currently holds that position at the Azienda Ospedaliera Universitaria di Alessandria, where, among other things, the digitization of medical records and contextual corporate adoption is being completed. Registered as a certified public accountant and in the register of statutory auditors.

Nico Bondi coordinates the activities of the Italian subsidiary and manages relations with institutional customers and partners. Prior to joining InterSystems, Nico worked as Country Business Leader for Italy and Greece for Becton Dickinson, where he was head of the Medication Management Solutions Business Unit. He also held roles of increasing responsibility within Abbott's commercial organisation in the medical device and MD-IVD diagnostics solutions market (Corelab Diagnostics). Nico started his career in healthcare technology in 2001 at Engineering Ingegneria Informatica.

Paolo Colli Franzone is President of IMIS as well as Director of the consulting firm “NetSquare” in Milan. He has been working on digital transformation in healthcare for over 30 years, providing organizational consulting services to public and private healthcare facilities and strategic consulting to leading IT vendors specializing in Healthcare. Member of the Scientific Committee of the VI Forum “Sistema Salute” and of the Network “Grandi Ospedali Italiani”.
Author of books on digital transformation in healthcare and numerous publications and white papers, including “L'ospedale del futuro”, Paolo Colli Franzone will be present at the event to share his insights on the future of healthcare and hospital innovation. Participants will have the opportunity to hear his vision, engage in discussions, and get their copies of the book signed.

Graduated in computer science in embedded systems and always passionate about issues related to information security, in 2008 he carried out the thesis on the study and modeling of processes regarding the introduction of an Electronic Medical Record at the hospital of Vimercate. To date, as head of the SIAs of ASST Brianza, he is mainly involved in the design and development of information systems in the hospital and territorial areas in order to facilitate the progressive digitization and integration of diagnosis, treatment and care processes and the progressive implementation of integrated care pathways and continuous enhancement of the company's information assets.

Roberto Magitteri joined InterSystems over 20 years ago and has been working on making healthcare organizations successful around the globe ever since. From managing implementation and support activities in Italy, transitioning to international pre and post sales operations, and then leading the core product development team of TrakCare based in Boston, MA. His experience in multiple markets helps him drive InterSystems’ EHR solution toward world-class standard.

Silvia leads the team of analysts covering the European healthcare market and the Worldwide Medical Devices Industry. Her research provides strategic advice to end users and vendors in healthcare and life sciences, assisting organizations in understanding how technologies are disrupting and transforming traditional business models. Silvia Piai has more than 10 years’ experience in health IT research. She started her career as a public sector analyst, then specializing in healthcare and life science, becoming the lead analyst for the European market for IDC Health Insights.
