Dr. Jo Salter MBE, First Female Jet Pilot Flying the Panavia Tornado & Global Advisory of GenAI for PwC

Dr Jo Salter MBE BEng (Hons), MBA, DA (h.c.) is a pioneering leader whose career spans aviation, business and transformative leadership. Best known as Britain’s first female fast jet pilot, Jo’s journey from the cockpit of a Tornado GR1 to global boardrooms has inspired generations. Her story is one of resilience, inclusion and navigating change - and today, she brings that lived experience to audiences around the world as a sought-after speaker, leadership coach and advisor.
 
After joining the Royal Air Force at just 18 and studying at the Royal Military College of Science, Jo earned her wings in 1992 and became a Flight Lieutenant on the legendary 617 Squadron. She later served as a Qualified Tactics Instructor, flying the Hawk T1 and supporting the next generation of Air Cadets through Air Experience Flights. Her trailblazing aviation career didn’t just break gender barriers - it laid the groundwork for a life dedicated to leadership and service.
Since leaving the RAF, Jo has built a rich and varied business career. She has held multiple senior leadership roles at PwC, including Director of Global Transformative Leadership and Global Advisory Lead for GenAI. She played a key role in PwC Australia’s 2023 transformation response, and led digital and AI strategies that helped upskill 270,000+ employees worldwide. Her work has shaped the way organisations think about leadership, risk, innovation and the human side of transformation.
 
Jo has also run her own consultancy, Saltin Ltd, since 2002 - delivering high-performance coaching, strategic programme management and thought leadership on transformation, resilience and mindset. A former Associate Lecturer for the Open University Business School, Jo is as comfortable in a classroom as she is on stage - whether she’s leading a boardroom session or addressing 3,000 people at a conference.

Phillip T. (Terry) Ragon, CEO, Founder, and Owner
InterSystems

Mr. Ragon is a life-term member of the MIT Corporation, the governing body of MIT (the “Board of Trustees”), and was Co-Chair of the MIT Campaign. He also serves on the Harvard University Medical School Board of Fellows as well as the Harvard Global Advisory Council. He is a Trustee of the Mass General Brigham health system as well as a trustee of both Mass General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and he served as Honorary Co-Chair of the Mass General Campaign.

In 2008, Mr. Ragon helped create the Ragon Institute, a joint research center of Mass General Brigham, MIT, and Harvard. The vision of the Ragon Institute is to “harness the immune system to prevent and cure disease”.

Mr. Ragon is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences as well as the American Academy of Achievement.

Mr. Ragon is a signatory to The Giving Pledge.

Don Woodlock Headshot

Don Woodlock, President
InterSystems

Don Woodlock joined InterSystems in 2017 to oversee HealthShare, the company’s interoperability platform. In 2020, he expanded his responsibilities to include TrakCare, InterSystems comprehensive healthcare information system, along with overall responsibility for the company’s global healthcare strategy and vision. Woodlock was appointed President of InterSystems in 2026.

Prior to joining InterSystems, Woodlock was Vice President and General Manager of the Enterprise Imaging division at GE Healthcare. He brings nearly 30 years of experience in IT, beginning his career at IDX Systems Corporation and spending more than 15 years at GE Healthcare, where he led multiple divisions and oversaw the integration of acquired technologies.

Woodlock is a founding advisory board member of the MIT Generative AI Impact Consortium, contributing to efforts focused on responsible AI adoption and real-world implementation in healthcare. He also hosts Code to Care, an educational video series focused on practical applications of AI and data technologies. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Colin Henderson, UK & Ireland Country Manager

Colin Henderson is the Country Manager for InterSystems' UK and Ireland offices. Appointed in March 2024, Colin brings over two decades of industry leadership experience to his role. Before joining InterSystems, he served as Managing Director for the UK and Ireland at Dedalus Group. His career also includes significant leadership positions at DXC Technology, Orion Health, and IBM Global Services, spanning regions such as the UK, Ireland, Israel, the Middle East, and Africa.

At InterSystems, Colin is focused on driving customer-centric growth and expanding the company's cloud-first products and services. He is passionate about leveraging data technology to improve decision-making across various sectors, including healthcare, financial services, government, manufacturing, and logistics.

He has held senior roles including CEO of AI health technology company HN, Deputy National Director for Urgent and Emergency Care at NHS England, Managing Director of one of the NHS’s first Integrated Care Systems – Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes ICS, and Chief Trans formation and Digital Officer at Luton and Dunstable Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. In these roles, Mark has overseen large scale transformation, driven commercial growth, and delivered measurable improvements in efficiency, quality, and patient outcomes.

Michael LaRocca, Founder and CEO

Michael leads Ready Computing, a passionate group of technologists focused on creating, implementing, and operating innovative IT solutions that drive whole person care initiatives through integrated organizations, systems, and workflows. He has extensive experience in the healthcare IT field, having worked at InterSystems Corporation for nearly 16 years prior to launching Ready Computing in 2011. There, Michael played a pivotal role in the strategic direction and adoption of HealthShare worldwide, while also designing and developing key technical components.

Michael also leads Ready Cares, a foundation dedicated to assisting underserved communities by supporting technology adoption, education, and community outreach. He firmly believes in "caring for those who care for us" and supports initiatives that provide respite for clinical and social care workers. Additionally, he serves as Chairman of the Board for the National Corvette Museum, and chairs its executive and advisory committees.

Michael is committed to transforming the health and social care landscape through innovative IT solutions and community-driven initiatives. His work embodies a holistic approach, ensuring that technology not only enhances care but also uplifts those who deliver it.

Paul Cranston, Director of Professional Services and Technical Solutions Architect, J2 Interactive

Paul Cranston is Director of Professional Services at J2 Interactive, a software development and IT consulting firm with operations in the United States, Europe, and the Middle East. Paul initially joined J2 Interactive in 2016 as a senior consultant focused on solution architecture, before becoming a member of the organisation’s leadership team. Over the last 4 years, Paul has played a critical role in J2 Interactive’s work modernising Chadwicks Group’s legacy ERP - demonstrating that it is achievable to maintain key institutional knowledge rather than relying on a rip-and-replace approach. Paul has also been integral in getting buy-in from his engineering team as J2 Interactive has adopted more AI coding - significantly upgrading coding efficiency and freeing up employees to focus on more value-add activity. 

Prior to his work with J2 Interactive, Paul had significant experience with NHS integration and data migration, as well as serving as a software engineer specialising in SharePoint. 

Paul studied computer science at Queen’s University in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Francisco Miguel Torres Grande, PhD EMBA - Head of Partnerships Europe, Whyze Health

Francisco Miguel Torres Grande, PhD, EMBA, is a scientist, healthcare strategist, and AI & real-world data expert with 15+ years of experience across biomedical research, business development in life sciences, and healthcare innovation and strategy. His career has focused on bridging science, technology, and business to turn complex healthcare challenges into actionable innovative solutions and strategic partnerships.

Before joining WHYZE Health, Francisco held leadership roles across innovation, technology transfer, and AI-driven healthcare. Most recently working with medical and life-sciences organisations to unlock the value of real-world data and AI for research and personalised medicine. Jeff Fried, Director of Product Management

Jeff Fried, Director of Product Management for InterSystems, is a long-standing data management nerd, and particularly passionate about helping people create powerful data-driven applications. Prior to joining InterSystems, Jeff was CTO of BA Insight, and ran product management for FAST Search and Transfer and for Microsoft.  He has extensive experience in data management, text analytics, enterprise search, and interoperability.   Jeff is a frequent speaker and writer in the industry; holds 15 patents; and has authored more than 50 technical papers and co-authored three technical books.

Rebecca Pluthero, Global Senior Legal Counsel (AI)
InterSystems

Rebecca is Senior Legal Counsel for Artificial Intelligence at InterSystems, where she advises on global AI legal risk, governance, and regulatory compliance across the organisation.

Her role focuses on how AI-related legal, regulatory, and ethical expectations intersect with product lifecycles, commercialisation, vendor and customer commitments in real-world deployments. Rebecca works cross-functionally with technical, product, and business teams, and acts as a global subject-matter expert on AI legal risk and governance.

Rebecca holds an English LLB (hons) degree in Law, an Inns of Court Law School Scholarship awarded when completing her Barrister postgraduate training and holds the IAPP AI Governance Professional Certification. She has spent 15 years as an in-house legal advisor and consultant traversing various sectors including Big Four Financial Services, Entertainment Brand Licensing, Industrial IoT, HealthTech and UK Central Government IT Transformation Programs.

Saurav brings over 25 years of IT experience in the data management space and is very passionate about helping organisations solve complex data, interoperability, and analytics challenges.

Saurav joined InterSystems in 2006 and has been working in Pre-Sales and Solutions Architect roles with experience in technology and solution sales, enterprise application integration, data warehousing, business intelligence and software development. His key responsibilities include recommending technical architecture, solution design, migration, upgrade strategies, and operational best practices to InterSystems Customers.

Prior to joining InterSystems, Saurav use to work for NCR Corporation where he was responsible for establishing off-shore Enterprise Data Warehouse team in India and before that use to work for Sopra Steria in software development.

Kinshuk Rakshith, Sales Engineer

Kinshuk Rakshith is a Sales Engineer who has been working with InterSystems clients across various industries for over 8 years.

Prior to joining InterSystems, Kinshuk worked in healthcare research IT, the Silicon Valley electronics industry and UC Davis Health where he developed public health web applications as well as designed and implemented data pipeline for various applications. His expertise covers customer service support through to application engineering, technical support engineering and systems modelling.

Kinshuk holds a First Class Honors Degree in Computing for Industry, and a Masters Degree in Embedded Computer Systems Engineering both from Northumbria University. He also has a Masters in Health Informatics from the University of California, Davis.

Kerry Kirkham, Sales Engineer

Kerry is a sales engineer at InterSystems and manages a number of key accounts across the healthcare, telecoms and government sectors, including Nortel, Grapevine Solutions, St. Vincent’s and Mater Hospital in Dublin and DIS, across Ireland. Kerry has extensive knowledge of Healthcare applications in the US, UK and Ireland. Since joining InterSystems in 2000, he has gained experience in a variety of countries, namely spending over three years in Houston, USA and Dublin, Ireland. Kerry works mainly with Caché, Ensemble and DeepSee and was instrumental in the replacement of Nortel’s Contact Center database with Caché, helping the company to evaluate their existing needs and to match this with their future progression.

Before joining InterSystems, Kerry worked as a developer for both SMS Ireland, and Grapevine Solutions, predominantly a healthcare consultancy. He also worked in research in Medical Physics in St James Hospital, Dublin .Kerry has a BSc in Physics from Loughborough University, UK.

Auwais Hussain, Sales Engineer
InterSystems

Auwais is a Sales Engineer in the Data Platforms team at InterSystems, helping organisations make better use of their healthcare data. His work turns complex requirements into practical solutions through collaborative design, proofs of concept, demonstrations and workshops. His experience with FHIR and data integration has led to a particular interest in how AI can enable more intelligent interoperability using InterSystems IRIS and IRIS for Health. A first-class Computer Science graduate from King’s College London, he combines a strong technical foundation with a practical, collaborative approach to problem-solving.

Gabriel Ing, Technical Graduate

Gabriel is a Technical Graduate in the Developer Relations team and based in Edinburgh. He has a particular interest in AI orchestration and Python development with InterSystems IRIS. He is also passionate about improving the learning experience for developers working with InterSystems IRIS and maintains an active presence on the InterSystems Developer Community.  Before joining InterSystems, Gabriel completed a PhD in Biophysics.
