Steve Bowyer - Chief Data Officer, East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust
Steve Bowyer is Chief Digital Officer at East Midlands Ambulance Service having joined the Trust in 2015, prior to which he worked for the Department of Health helping deploy the Airwave communications solution across ambulance services in England. He has a wealth of IT experience across public and private sectors spanning 20 years and has previously chaired the UK’s Ambulance Digital Leadership group. He laughingly acknowledges that he has a few geeky tendencies when it comes to digital technology being adept at blending IT service management experience with an ounce of technical understanding and pragmatism to realise effective change.
Stephen Gallagher - Director for Digital Health & Care, Scottish Government
Stephen Gallagher took up his post of Director for Digital Health & Care in August 2022 having previously spent 19 months as Director for Vaccine Strategy and Policy. His career with The Scottish Government spans more than 16 years where he has also worked as Director for Local Government & Communities.
James Reed - Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist and CCIO, Birmingham & Solihull Mental Health Foundation Trust
James Reed is a Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist and has been CCIO of Birmingham & Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust since 2013. He has participated in local, regional and national work on clinical IT (including the ‘Your Care Connected’ and MERIT vanguard data sharing projects) and advises various national bodies including the Royal College of Psychiatrists and the Professional Records Standards Body. The Trust has recently been awarded Global Digital Exemplar status in recognition of its high degree of digital maturity.
Gordon Strachan OBE
Gordon Strachan was one of the most highly respected players of his generation, winning countless honours on both sides of the border with Aberdeen, Manchester United and Leeds as well as representing his country at both the 1982 and 1986 World Cups.

In club football, Strachan played 635 league games, scoring a total of 138 goals, playing 21 of 25 career seasons in either the English or Scottish top-flight. In international football Strachan earned 50 caps, scoring five goals and played in two FIFA World Cup final tournaments, Spain 82 and Mexico 86. Strachan retired from playing in 1997 at age 40, setting a Premier League record for an outfield player.

Dimitri Fane - Director of Product Management, InterSystems TrakCare
As Director of Product Management, Dimitri Fane leads the global Product, Quality, and Clinical teams for InterSystems TrakCare. He is responsible for the TrakCare product strategy and roadmap within the broader healthcare division, and ensuring alignment with global clients and industry trends. Since joining InterSystems in 1999, Dimitri has held a variety of roles including managing Technical Implementation and Support in the UK, Europe and Middle East and support management positions in InterSystems’ Worldwide Response Center.
Alex MacLeod, Manager, HealthShare Commercial Initiatives
Alex MacLeod joined InterSystems in January 2001 while working towards her Masters’ Degree in Information Systems (earned in 2004) at Darmstadt Technical University, Germany. Based at the company’s headquarters in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Alex is a dual citizen of Germany and the USA.

During her career with InterSystems, Alex has worked in roles within Implementation, Support, and Sales, with a wide range of clients in boththe government and private sectors in a number of international markets including Germany, UK and the US. Alex’s exposure to multiple markets and the various aspects of InterSystems’ product and service offerings has enabled her to develop a deep understanding of how InterSystems technology can maximize customer success.

During the early part of her career, Alex worked across a range of industry verticals including Financial Services, Manufacturing and Healthcare. She was a leading light in InterSystems’ go-to-market strategy for the HealthShare product portfolio, which has become her focused area of engagement overthe last 10 years.

In addition to her assimilation of industry and customer knowledge, Alex has gathered management experience as she has risen through the organization, and was recently promoted to Manager, HealthShare Commercial Initiatives. In this key role, she is working alongside Regional and Country Managers around the world to help lead the growth of HealthShare internationally and product manages InterSystems’ as a Service offerings.
Chris Norton, Managing Director, UK and Ireland
Chris is a passionate and energetic business leader driven by success, responsible for InterSystems’ business & strategy in the UK and Ireland.

At InterSystems, Chris leads a team of over 200 who strive to empower customers to accelerate innovation and enhance operational resiliency. Chris is intent on continuing InterSystems’ long tradition of delivering an outstanding customer experience.

With more than 35 years’ experience in information technology and services, Chris regards it as a privilege to have been able to build long-standing relationships with clients and to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions and services, time after time. Innovative and entrepreneurial, notable results have included leading the first sale of InterSystems’ TrakCare Electronic Medical Record System in England; selling strategic enterprise solutions to large organisations such as British Telecom and Avaya; and building a successful business line such that now InterSystems is positioned as a major force in the delivery of regional Shared Care Record solutions to significant health economies in the UK.

Don Woodlock - Vice President, Healthcare
Don Woodlock joined InterSystems in 2017 to oversee HealthShare, our advanced interoperability platform. In 2020, he added the TrakCare comprehensive healthcare system to his portfolio, along with overall responsibility for the company’s healthcare vision.

Prior to joining InterSystems, Woodlock was the vice president and general manager for the Enterprise Imaging division of GE Healthcare. He brings nearly 30 years’ experience in the healthcare IT industry, beginning hiscareer at IDX Systems Corporation before spending more than 15 years atGE. His tenure at GE included overseeing several divisions of GE Healthcare along with the integration of acquired companies and technologies.

Woodlock holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
