Celebrating 30 Years of Innovations

In 1978, we started making innovative software products with the goal of helping professional developers be more successful. Judging from the steady growth of so many of our application partners – several of whom have been with us since our inception – we are achieving our goal.

We began sponsoring an annual developers conference 15 years ago. This event has grown steadily in popularity because it offers the opportunity to get together with others from InterSystems’ worldwide user community, meet with our developers and management team, and learn more about the latest innovations in Caché®, Ensemble®, and HealthShare™.

In keeping with our tradition of innovation, new activities are planned for DEVCON2008. For example, we are setting aside some tables during the lunch break each day so “birds-of-a-feather” can flock to talk about topics of mutual interest. Also, surprises are in store for the annual Innovator Award ceremony, the evening social event, and the Executive Track.

At DEVCON2008 you will enjoy informative presentations on a wide variety of topics, customer panel sessions, hands-on tutorials, and of course, a sneak peek at future developments in store for Caché, Ensemble, and HealthShare. There will be many opportunities to gain hands-on practice, either through the tutorials in the InterSystems Academy, or the pre- and post-conference classes given by InterSystems Learning Services. Plus, the e-Learning Lab enables self-directed study of a wide variety of topics. When you are not in a formal session or Academy tutorial, spend some time talking with the innovators in the Partner Pavilion. Or stop by the Developer Room for one-on-one discussions with the people who create our products.
