Successful implementation and deployment of a Caché-based application may be required for certification as a Caché Expert. In addition to coursework, candidates may be assigned an application development project, which, depending on the assignment, should take about one week to complete. It would require complex business logic, an appealing user interface, and reporting capability. The candidate's assigned mentor will provide direction and feedback during the assignment and, upon deployment, will review the application and determine that it demonstrates competent knowledge of Caché features.

Candidates will also receive appropriate training in InterSystems' policies and procedures, presenting Caché to new customers, the Caché message, etc.
